Mission Statement
The New York State Histotechnological Society is a volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to representing and promoting the advancement of the histology profession. The society actively pursues this by; offering educational opportunities, advocating on behalf of its members, and increasing the awareness of the general public and other health care professionals about the Histotechnology discipline. The society supports educational programs in order to foster student development and professional growth by sharing knowledge and creating a forum for the exchange and distribution of ideas. The Society is open to anyone who is interested in histology and the histotechnology disciplines.
